What was the reaction to the Freikorps rebellion?
The army refused to fire of the Freikorps. However, the German people (especially industrial workers) declared a general strike bringing the capital to a halt with no transport, power or water.

What was the outcome of the general strike after the Kapp Putsch?
Kapp realised he wouldn't succeed and left the country. He was hunted down and died whilst awaiting trial. Rest of rebels went unpunished.
