What is scope?
'The totality of the output, outcomes and benefits and the work required to produce them.'

How is scope defined in a linear life cycle?
You define baseline scope (the reference level from which you monitor and control the project) through breakdown structures

How is the scope defined in iterative life cycles?
You prioritise 'must-have' requirements in user stories and translate them into a target scope of work that you want o achieve in a fixed time frame ( a sprint). You can change your scope in later iterations based on experience and feedback

What is a product breakdown structure (PBS)?
A hierarchical decomposition of all the deliverables that the project will create

What is a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)?
A hierarchical decomposition of all the work/activities that the project will do (the lowest being a work package)

The cost of the labour or non-labour resources needed to complete the work

Defining the make up of the project team that will direct, manage and deliver the project work.
