Demographics
Demographic information is used in media marketing to classify an audience into age, gender, race and other categories. Demographics are broken into bands depending on peoples jobs or status

Millenials
tech savy, grew in prosperous times, media saturated and ethnically diverse. Big spenders. Under 28 years old in 2006

Gen X-ers
Grew up in economic downturn so more cynical but also tech savy. Individualistic. 28-41 years old in 2006
