What is Sadaqah?

This is a type of voluntary charity that is not demanded but that is highly recommended. This includes doing something outside of your religious obligations, be it volunteering at a homeless charity or making a charity donation off your own back.

This, like Sadaqah, is a type of voluntary charity, but it relates to acts that keep on giving, so long-term acts. This doesn’t include things like donating a food parcel, but rather installing a water well or planting a tree.
