SENSATION-the information we receive through our senses

DEPTH PERCEPTION- making sense of how close or far away objects are, by interpreting information from the senses

DEPTH CUES- allow the brain to make sense of the two-dimensional image that hits the retina, converting it into a three-dimensional image of the world

What are monocular depth cues?
MONOCULAR DEPTH CUES- a way of directing depth or distance using one eye

What are binocular depth cues?
BINOCULAR DEPTH CUES- a way of directing depth or distance, requires both eyes
