Vicarious Reinforcment
When a role model is praised or rewarded for their behaviour, the child is more likely to imitate them. If the model punished for their behaviour the child is less likely to imitate them

This determines whether the child's sex identity is male or female

Gender Identity
A child's gender can be identified by their attitudes and behaviour. This determines whether the child's gender identity is masculine or feminine
